The British have been voted the worst dressed in Europe, reports the Sun UK. Shopping website Ciao polled consumers in seven countries, who ranked Brits as the least fashionable Europeans and Italians as super stylish.
The same poll found that 85 percent of UK shoppers waste less than 100 pounds ($150) on their clothes per month, while in Germany, 58 percent of shoppers waste 200 pounds a month and in Spain, six percent of shoppers shell out more than 500 pounds each month.
“The role that Brits have made to the fashion scene over the years includes icons like Vivienne Westwood, Kate Moss and Alexander McQueen. We were shocked to find out that Britain is seen as the worst dressed nation in Europe,” remarked Ciao director Tom Hyde.
